About the client
In 2017 a US-based startup came up with an idea of a centralized telemedicine portal to access all the healthcare needs. The company first turned to an Indian vendor, which they grew dissatisfied with after a year of collaboration.
The developed part of the mobile app was not functioning in accordance with the requirements, delaying the first release. The Web part was already launched, but contained numerous bugs and didn’t perform properly as well.
As a result, CareValet addressed us to help them deliver their project.
Objectives
• Launch a mobile app into production
• Refine, add new functionality, and set up continuous deployment processes on web and mobile apps
Challenges
The biggest challenge we faced on the project was non-functioning third-party software that also had wrong architecture and multiple bugs.
We had to develop a custom algorithm to stabilize the situation, continue work on the product in a normal mode and release new version.
Job done
We delivered a platform with web and mobile interface, introduced 3 types of users, arranged access to telemedicine physicians via in-built messenger and video calls, access to in-network healthcare providers, a calendar to schedule appointments, push notifications, billing functionality, and secure encryption to protect all transmissions.
Results
The platform was delivered on time with the functionality planned.
